EMPOWERING GROWTH, CELEBRATING MERIT
In 2025, Rise with Merit Association continued its mission to uplift communities and transform lives across Cameroon. Through our dedicated programs and the support of our volunteers and partners, we touched the lives of hundreds of individuals, offering hope, education, and opportunities for a brighter future.
This year marked significant milestones in our journey. We expanded our educational sponsorship program, reaching more students than ever before at the Merit Institute of Excellence Vocational Training Centre (CFP-MIEX). Our commitment to social justice led us to the Kondengui Central Prison, where we provided support and hope to those who society often overlooks. We brought joy to orphaned children through our orphanage outreach, and we celebrated our achievements together at our annual gala night.
Each program reflects our core belief: that every individual deserves dignity, opportunity, and the chance to rise with merit. The stories in these pages demonstrate the power of community engagement and the profound impact of giving back.

Rise with Merit Association is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education, social support, and advocacy. We believe in creating opportunities for those who need them most and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
A society where every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to quality education, support, and opportunities to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to their community.
Education is the cornerstone of empowerment. Through our partnership with the Merit Institute of Excellence Vocational Training Centre (CFP-MIEX), we provide comprehensive educational support to students pursuing vocational training in various fields.
This year marked an extraordinary milestone for our educational program. All sponsored students at CFP-MIEX achieved a 100% success rate in their DQP/CPQ 2025 examinations, demonstrating the quality of training and the dedication of both students and instructors.
🎓 Program Impact:
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, but they share a common determination to build better futures for themselves and their families. Through our sponsorship program, we cover tuition fees, provide learning materials, and offer mentorship support throughout their training journey.
The vocational training at CFP-MIEX equips students with practical skills that are immediately applicable in the job market. From secretarial training to technical skills, our students graduate ready to contribute meaningfully to the workforce and their communities.
Children are the future of our society, and every child deserves love, care, and opportunities to thrive. Our orphanage outreach program brings joy, support, and resources to children who have lost their parents or have been separated from their families.
Throughout 2024, our team conducted regular visits to local orphanages, bringing not just material support but also emotional connection and hope. We organized recreational activities, provided educational materials, and ensured that the children felt valued and loved.

Our visits bring more than material goods—they bring hope and connection. The children eagerly await our visits, knowing that they are not forgotten by their community. Through games, storytelling, and shared meals, we create moments of joy and normalcy in their lives.
We work closely with orphanage administrators to understand the specific needs of each facility and the children in their care. This collaborative approach ensures that our support is both meaningful and sustainable.
True compassion extends to all members of society, including those who are incarcerated. Our prison ministry at Kondengui Central Prison reflects our belief in human dignity, redemption, and the power of hope even in the most challenging circumstances.
Our prison outreach program serves multiple purposes: providing spiritual support, offering practical resources, and reminding inmates that they are not forgotten by society. We believe that rehabilitation begins with restoring dignity and hope.

The prison environment is challenging, but our presence brings light into a difficult situation. Through our visits, inmates receive not just material support but also human connection and the message that they have value and potential for positive change.
We conduct group sessions where inmates can share their stories, receive encouragement, and learn about pathways to rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society. Many inmates express gratitude for simply being treated with dignity and respect.
Our annual gala night is more than a celebration it's a gathering of supporters, volunteers, beneficiaries, and community members who believe in our mission. It's an opportunity to reflect on our achievements, recognize outstanding contributions, and build momentum for the year ahead.
